  The second edition of the online Nursing Skills OER textbook has been released. The URL for this 2 nd edition remains the same as the 1 st edition: https://wtcs.pressbooks.pub/nursingskills/ . The affordable print version is being developed by XanEdu and will be available by January 2024.  The ISBNs for the second editions are: EBOOK ISBN:  978-1-957068-10-7 PRINT ISBN:  978-1-957068-11-4 The rationale for maintaining the same URL for this second edition and for all future Open RN textbooks include: - We are following the standard set by OpenStax in establishing one URL per book and tracking revision history. - Mostly minor verbiage revisions for improved clarity were made in Nursing Skills 2e. The  only chapter that underwent significant updates was  Chapter 23 (IV Therapy). Otherwise, dozens of new NCLEX Next Gen-style questions were added and hundreds of minor verbiage revisions were made to improve clarity. The Open RN team is pleased to announce the second edition of the Nursing Pharmacology OER ebook has been released and is available at this link: https://wtcs.pressbooks.pub/pharmacology2e .  Revisions have been incorporated based on feedback from WTCS faculty as well as a national peer review process. The second edition is aligned with the 2023 NCLEX Test Plans and contains dozens of new NCLEX Next-Generation style questions (including bowties) across all chapters.
