We received a fantastic level of interest from dozens of institutions across the country on the OpenRN website as a result of our premeeting collaborative presentation with Delmar Larson (LibreTexts) and Ariel Anbar (Inspark)!  We are thrilled to share our 5 Nursing OER textbooks with Nursing programs that can potentially be remixed using the LibreText remixing tool to align with each institution's curriculum.  Here is a link to the Open RN PPT presentation.

CCC OER Regional Leadership in Open Education meeting 10-29-2019

Honored to participate with 26 other state representatives at the CCC OER Regional Leadership in Open Education meeting.  We focused on developing standards for OER topics such as sustainability; stewardship; professionalism and OER policy.  Enjoyed Nicole Allen's opening remarks with the challenge to "Be the person you're waiting for" in terms of being a leader in Open Education with the reflective question: "How can we collaborate with publishers to provide what we need for our students?" Our workgroup focused on Sustainability.  Here is the concept map we developed that is focused on three goals: funding; people; and sharing resources.  An action plan was created and deliverables will be created over this upcoming year.
