Second Quarter, Fourth Year Quarterly Program Report
Here is the quarterly program report for June 1 - September 1, 2022. Here is a high level overview of project updates from this quarter: The fifth OER book of the Open RN textbook series, Mental Health and Community Concepts , was published in Pressbooks in August 2022. The affordable print version is anticipated to be available in college bookstores in January 2023. The print version of Management and Professional Concepts was printed and available in college bookstores in August 2022. The free, edited PDF of the print version can be downloaded here . Cumulatively through 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 academic years, 12 WTCS colleges adopted one or more Open RN textbooks in 286 OER course sections, impacting 3165 students and resulting in student cost savings of $254,642. These numbers are anticipated to exponentially grow during the 2022-2023 academic year and beyond now that all five Open RN textbooks have been published.
